Medical Services Program: Monitors health care at VA facilities, conducts routine on-site VA visits and initiates on-site investigations.

Field Services Program: National Service Officers (NSOs) assist veterans with benefit claims and monitor medical care at local VA facilities.

Appellate Services Program: Legal representation at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals for benefit claims that have been denied by local VA facilities.
